IMdev trains journalists on ethical reporting relating to children
In 2016, IMdev collaborated with its community radio and media partners to enhance the ethical reporting skills of 130 journalists regarding children's issues, supported by funding from UNICEF Sierra Leone.

Through targeted training sessions, journalists gained a deeper understanding of ethical considerations when reporting on topics related to children, contributing to more responsible and sensitive media coverage. Additionally, social media administrators and influencers were actively engaged to promote ethical standards in social media content concerning children, reflecting a comprehensive approach to ensuring the protection and well-being of children in Sierra Leone's media landscape.
