Twelve years ago, Yeama Sarah Thompson dreamt of returning home after a decade in the diaspora, armed with newfound knowledge and experiences from her work with journalists in Liberia and beyond. Her vision was clear: to contribute significantly to the media ecosystem in Sierra Leone. Today, that vision is a thriving reality, thanks to IMdev's relentless pursuit of excellence.

Since its inception, IMdev has been at the forefront of advancing ethical journalism, advocating for human rights, and promoting gender equality through media platforms.
